As for the bpdu guard, when I get into the office tomorrow I need to look up where I set bpdu guard and where I set root guard.  On the instance where it is hooked up to a 3750, it may be more appropriate to use &quot;spanning-tree guard root&quot; and leave bpdu off since your 3750 will have spanning tree running on it.  

In the case of a 3010 blade chassis switch, which is common for us, I tend to turn spanning tree off because only hosts  and not other switches or hubs can be hooked up to the 3010.  But in the case of a 3750 you will have spanning-tree running.]]></description>
